Members of Beta Epsilon returned to campus this past August. Each
school year is busy with philanthropic & social activities. Some of those activities include: Greek Week, Sisterhood
dinners, Puddle Pull, and Recruitment in January.
Working with the House Corporation Board (HCB), the chapter
has been busy remodeling their suite in Minnich hall (a much needed change). The room has come so far in the past
several years with new carpet, updated paint, and new furniture.
In late spring, we make an annual trip to Oxford to welcome
the seniors into Alumnae status. Details are on the "Calendar" page of our site.
Interested in working more closely with these ladies? They are always
appreciative of the guidance and support alumnae have to offer. And, there's plenty of opportunities and needs out there.
If you'd like to get get more involved, please let Summi know. She can put you in touch with the Regional Coordinator. Our
region includes Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
Support
our local collegiate chapter!
The Gamma Phi chapter at
Miami University (Beta Epsilon) is looking for advisory assistance from alumnae in all areas, particularly a chapter advisor.
Advising a collegiate chapter
can be a very rewarding experience. We've found that simply having a line of communication, an occasional phone conversation,
or chatting through e-mail was a very effective way in helping them out. Visiting the chapter once in a while is also helpful.
The chapter is thrilled at the prospect of having more alumnae involved, to have someone to "bounce ideas" off of, etc.
Some of the ways Cincy alums have supported the women at Miami...
- House Corporation Board - Kristin Van Scoy, Margie
Wilson, Alison Allen
- Membership Education Vice President - Jenn Wright
- Alumnae Relations - Sue Kirkpatrick
- Chapter Advisor - Kristy Keefe
If you're interested in getting
involved with the ladies at Miami University and supporting our leaders of tomorrow, please let me know. I'd be happy to talk
to you more about it. You can download the Volunteer Recruitment form below and e-mail/fax it to Summi or reach out to
Emily Chesnut for more information.
